WORLD PREMIERE OF „LEIDER VERWANDT“
AT 2017 FILMFEST MÜNCHEN

„Leider verwandt“ („Regrettably kin“), produced by Krebs & Krappen Film is going to premiere at the Filmfest München 2017 in the section New German TV Movies: on Saturday 24th June, 2017, 17:30, Audimaxx (in the HFF). Directed by Lars Jessen Axel Prahl and Jonas Nay, both North Germans and musicians, deliver winning performances as the father-son duo in this shanty of a small town comedy.

KREBS & KRAPPEN FILM STARTS SHOOTING
OF „LEIDER VERWANDT“
(AKA „KUDDELMUDDEL“, WT)

On October 6th, 2017, the shooting for „Leider verwandt“ (aka „Kuddelmuddel“, working title), directed by Lars Jessen, started at the coast of Schleswig-Holstein. Told with a lot of music and humour the comedy stars Axel Prahl as a sly fox and shanty musician. His crisis-stricken son is played by Jonas Nay („Deutschland 83“, „Homevideo“). Like Axel Prahl Jonas Nay comes from Northern Germany, and both of the main actors are also accomplished musicians. Further actors are Judith Rosmair, Peter Franke, Anna von Haebler, Jan Georg Schütte, Uke Bosse, Nicki von Tempelhoff et. al. The original screenplay is by Volker Krappen. Jakob Ilja, guitarist of „Element of Crime“, contributes the music. „Leider verwandt“ (aka „Kuddelmuddel“) is produced by Krebs & Krappen Film. Commissioned by ARD Degeto the tv editor is Katja Kirchen and Sascha Schwingel. Up to October the shooting will take place in Dithmarschen and Hamburg.

AYLIN TEZEL HONOURED WITH THE
GERMAN ACTORS AWARD 2015

As best actress in a comedy role Aylin Tezel received the German Actors Award for her acting in „Kleine Schiffe“ (directed bei Matthias Steurer, produced by Krebs & Krappen Film). The 4th German Actors Award 2015 took place May 29th at the Zoo Palast in Berlin.

For her acting in „Kleine Schiffe“ (directed bei Matthias Steurer, produced by Krebs & Krappen Film) Aylin Tezel has received a nomination for the Deutscher Schauspielerpreis/German Actors Award 2015 as „best actress in a comedy role“. The award 2015 will take place on May 29th at the Zoo Palast in Berlin.

The first broadcast of the tv movie "Vier kriegen ein Kind" ("Four Beeing Expecting") produced by Krebs & Krappen Film (director Matthias Steurer, screenplay by Volker krappen) will be on Friday 6th March, 2015, 20:15, at First German Television – Das Erste. Christina Hecke and Friederike Kempter play a female same-sex couple who is longing for a child. They unintentionally get into a queer family constellation together with a strange male couple, played by Marc Hosemann and Christian Näthe.

Up to mid-September 2014 Matthias Steuer is directing the fresh and funny social comedy "Vier kriegen ein Kind" ("Four Beeing Expecting") after the screenplay by Volker Krappen. Friederike Kempter and Christina Hecke play a female same-sex couple expecting a baby and taken by complete surprise when an unknown male couple (played by Marc Hosemann and Christian Näthe) claims father's rights to their unborn child. Told with charming situation comedy and witty dialogues the film gathers further actors like Ramona Kunze-Libnow, Hans-Heinrich Hardt, Christian Concilio et al. "Vier kriegen ein Kind" is produced by Krebs & Krappen Film. Commissioned by ARD Degeto the tv editor is Katja Kirchen.

FOR JUPITER-AWARD 2014



The tv movie "Kleine Schiffe" ("Small boats") after the novel by Silke Schütze produced by Krebs & Krappen Film has received a nomination for the Jupiter Award 2014 in the category "Best TV Feature Film, National". The Jupiter Award is Germanies biggest audience award for Cinema and TV and is given every year by the magazines "Cinema" and "TV Spielfilm". Via the Jupiter Award's online presence (www.jupiter-award.de) it is possible to vote for the prize winners.

The first broadcast of the tv movie "Kleine Schiffe" ("Small boats") after the novel by Silke Schütze produced by Krebs & Krappen Film will be on Friday 6th december, 2013, at First German Television-Das Erste. Katja Riemann and Aylin Tezel play the leads (director: Matthias Steurer) in the dramedy. The story is about a neurotic woman in the mid forties who was abandoned by her husband and is hurried into the adventure of a late pregnancy and the beginning of a friendship with a young chaotic – also pregnant - girl.

The tv movie "Kleine Schiffe", produced by Krebs & Krappen Film, is going to premiere at this year's Filmfest Biberach on Thursday 31th October, 2013. Katja Riemann and Aylin Tezel play the leads in the dramedy after the novel "Kleine Schiffe" by Silke Schütze. The film will be shown at the 35th Filmfestspiele Biberach in the section tv films on 31th October and 1st November, 2013.

The last scenes for the tv movie "Kleine Schiffe" ("Small Boats", working title), produced by Krebs & Krappen Film, were taken on 6th October 2012 in Hamburg. Katja Riemann plays a mid forty slightly anxious and neurotic woman who was abandoned by her husband and is hurled into the adventure of a late pregancy. Co-starring Aylin Tezel, Hans-Werner Meyer, Peter Franke and Christoph Schechinger the dramedy is scripted by Volker Krappen after the novel "Kleine Schiffe" by Silke Schütze and directed by Matthias Steurer. Commissioned by ARD Degeto the tv editor is Katja Kirchen.

Cornelia Froboess and Matthias Habich play the leads in the story of a great delayed "teenage love". The romantic drama was directed by Matthias Tiefenbacher.

CORNELIA FROBOESS NOMINATED FOR HESSIAN TV AWARD 2011

For her Leading Role in "Eine halbe Ewigkeit" (directed by Matthias Tiefenbacher, produced by Krebs & Krappen Film) Cornelia Froboess has received a nomination for the Hessian TV Award as "Best Actress". The Annual Hessian Film Awards will take place on October 14th at the Old Opera Frankfurt on the Main.
