Part two of the series about two strong female buddies who overcome the adversities of (rural) life together as part of a volunteer fire department

A year after firefighters Anja (Nadja Becker) and Meike (Katja Danowski) met, you'd think they'd become friends – if they weren't such secretive women. Anja hides the fact that she lost her house after losing her job. And she doesn't want anyone to know that her one-night stand with local fire chief Rainer (Merlin Sandmeyer) has turned into a long-term affair. Meike, who takes Anja in on the farm, feels like a stranger herself and secretly plans to return to the army. Their friendship is put to the test – and the state of alarm is fueled by a series of fires that become increasingly threatening.
