ARD is launching the new TV movie series Feuerwehrfrauen
with two primetime premiere broadcasts on two consecutive Fridays. The pilot film Phoenix aus der Asche
kicks off on 13.09.2024 at 8.15 p.m., followed by part two entitled Heim gesucht
on 20.09.2024. Nadja Becker and Katja Danowski play the leading roles in the series produced by Krebs & Krappen Film about two strong female buddies who overcome the adversities of (rural) life together as part of a volunteer fire department. Joining them in rural northern Germany are Discounter
favorite Merlin Sandmeyer, Instagram star Fabien Tietjen, Lina Wendel, Elmar Gutmann, Alina Hidić, Christian Rudolf, Jan Hasenfuß, Leander Lichti and many more. Both films were directed by Martin Busker (Zorros Solo
), the screenplays were written by Volker Krappen, and Katja Kirchen and Stefan Kruppa are responsible for the ARD Degeto editorial team.
